The ninth in our series of 50 events for Swansea's 50th birthday by my calculation took place this morning when we invited the Wednesday Morning Coffee Club from Treboeth Community Centre to the Mansion House.
Naturally, there was coffee …. and tea, cake and sandwiches, together with those specially commissioned chocolates adorned with the 50th anniversary logo.
Everybody seemed to enjoy and as Councillor Mike Lewis, who represents the area, was also present, he also collected plenty of casework to keep him busy.
