The show started off with a procession of representatives of the Armed Forces, Cadet Associations and the Emergency Services led by the City of Swansea Pipe Band. We were addressed by the Mayor and Youth Mayor of Neath Port Talbot and then enjoyed music from the Neath Port Talbot Youth Brass Band and the Neath Port Talbot Youth Choir.
In the second half we enjoyed a performance from Kirsten Orsborn who is billed as the Royal Marines Sweetheart.
We also enjoyed singing from the Port Talbot Cymric Choir, including some Second World War classics such as 'It's a long way to Tipperary', 'Keep the Home Fires Burning' and 'Pack up your Troubles'
The concert concluded with the 215 City of Swansea Squadron Air Training Corps Band who specialise in performing with glow in the dark gloves and drum sticks.
The theatre was packed and everybody seemed to have a really good time. There was an act of remembrance before we stood for the National Anthems.
