Bishop Vaughan School is Swansea's only catholic comprehensive school with strong roots in the local community and with a strong record of academic achievement. It was a privilege therefore to be asked to join other community leaders in presenting prizes to pupils this evening.
The guest speaker was Jonathan Roberts, the Editor of the South Wales Evening Post (pictured) and we were also joined by Paul White, the Diocesan Director of Education, Mike O'Rourke, President of the Catenian Society and Swansea East Assembly Member, Mike Hedges.
It was a pleasure to be entertained by some of the schools talented pupils and to assist in recognising their achievements.
